Automated Packaging Technology

Medical Arts LTC Pharmacy is pleased to announce it has received the latest in automation packaging technology. The DOSIS L60, once fully configured and implemented, will virtually replace the hand filling of single dose blister cards (bingo cards) providing greater accuracy and speed while maintaining the color coding that our customers have come to rely on. It also interfaces with the Company’s new pharmacy software significantly reducing the amount of time to fill medication orders.

What makes this new technology especially exciting is its configurability. Depending on the Community’s needs, the label on the card can be configured to read, for example; “AM” or “Breakfast” or “Morning” or any nomenclature they choose. All other dosing times are equally configurable. We anticipate this new technology to be fully functional and dispensing medications to our customers by December of 2011.

This new website is designed to provide information about our products and services while also offering links to important documents used by the Communities and Facilities we serve. Through this website, our customers can access those forms commonly used in the service of their residents.

This new website is designed to be flexible and expandable so please contact us if with any suggestions for improvements or enhancements you would find helpful.

New Pharmacy Software

Medical Arts LTC Pharmacy is proud to announce it has begun implementation of its new Framework LTC Software. This new software is specifically designed for servicing Assisted Living and LTC Facilities and provides significant improvements such as workflow management, bar coding functionality and document management. Ultimately, it will improve the accuracy and the speed in which we serve our customers.

Our aim is to make this a transparent and seamless transition for our existing customers and therefore will take a significant investment in time in resources to completely implement, but we are dedicated to completing this task as soon as possible.
